I DON'T KNOW IF YOU ARE THE RIGHT MUSICIAN FOR MY CEREMONY-HOW WILL I KNOW?
Your wedding day is such an important event and I understand that every aspect has to be perfect. If you are unsure about booking, then do try to come and hear me perform live. If you still are not 100% confident in booking me-I would suggest looking at different ceremony singers and instrumentalists who might be of assistance.
HAVE YOU PLAYED FOR ALL TYPES OF CEREMONIES BEFORE?
Yes-at this stage, nothing is a surprise to me! I have covered Roman Catholic, Methodist, Church of Ireland and Presbyterian ceremonies as well as humanist and civil ceremonies. Indoors, outdoors, rooftops, beach resorts.. all taken care of.
MY CHURCH IS OLD AND DOESN'T HAVE A GREAT SOUND SYSTEM-CAN YOU WORK WITH THIS?
One thing that sets me apart from my counterparts is the high spec equipment I bring to every single ceremony. I use an RCF 8 track mini desk as well as two elevated RCF speakers. I bring all necessary power, leads, cables, microphones and stands and will never ever allow the sound to be less than perfect for your ceremony. I also upgrade and maintain our equipment on a monthly basis so it will never let me down. On the day, all I need is a plug and a seat!
HOW MANY MUSICIANS ACCOMPANY YOU AND DO YOU OFFER A SELF ACCOMPANIED OPTION?
Currently I offer a self accompanied option for all ceremonies. Being a piano player means that you have the option of multiple instrumentals as well as a vocalist. All areas and repertoire can therefore be covered. Should you wish to include another instrument-guitar/violin/flute- or an extra vocalist, I can organise this as well. I use only the finest and most professional musicians.
MY MUM/SISTER/COUSIN/UNCLE REALLY WANTS TO PERFORM DURING THE CEREMONY-CAN YOU ACCOMODATE THIS?
Absolutely. I understand weddings are about family and people coming together to celebrate with you. Where possible, I would always accomodate a guest performer. I do not, unfortunately, cater for extra practices and would request that we meet the musician/vocalist for a quick run through on the day, before the ceremony is due to start. This is usually more than adequate preparation for me.
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GO ABOUT PICKING MUSIC FOR THE CEREMONY-CAN YOU HELP?
Of course! This is the part I love! Once you have booked your date and secure a deposit with me, I will send you on a template which explains how much music you need and where. I have templates for all types of ceremony so fear not, I am here to help.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes! I cover most of Munster, Leinster and have been known to venture as far as Donegal! Please note extra mileage will be charged accordingly. I am currently based in Cahir, not far from the M8, so I always try to keep costs down for all clients.
